Would you want him in a trade?

Word out of Denver is that Jay is available. Matt is getting older, Seneca, to me is not the answer. So the draft that I watched this morning, has Matt Stafford available in the 4th pick and that the Seahawks are going to pick him with this.

But now word out of Denver is that the Broncos are open for a trade, what do you think? I like Jay, depending on the price, I might be for trading the first round, getting a second or a third and getting Jay.

Experienced, knows systems with little downside.

Nascar Fans, If you had to endure that boredom sunday

Read this, this is out of the Greensboro News, I was talking with a friend of mine and this was exactly what we were talking about:

You waited for Denny Hamlin to strike after losing Sunday's race at Martinsville. Would he ram Jimmie Johnson's car? Give him the one-finger salute? Or call Johnson out like a pro wrestler? Instead, Hamlin did something less dramatic but more powerful. He calmly said retribution is coming. Some will say Hamlin's subtle reaction proves all that's wrong with NASCAR. No emotion. No personality. No pizzaz. This was the perfect time to throw a fit, they would say. Johnson dived under Hamlin with 16 laps to go racing for the lead. They hit. Johnson slid past Hamlin on the way to his fifth win in the last six Martinsville races. Hamlin's reaction, though, isn't wrong. It's today's NASCAR. ... Blame NASCAR. Blame TV. Blame sponsors. Blame the media. Blame yourself. With more people watching than in the sport's early days, drivers are more careful. That doesn't mean personality is gone. Tony Bennett gone to UVA

It was bound to happen, it was a matter of time, but, it still hurts. Losing a quality coach is hard, but like always in sports, time to pick up the pieces. So what now? I have heard many things, here's the list:

Portland State coach Ken Bone

San Diego coach Bill Grier

I do want to wish him well, and hopefully he will succeed. Thanks Tony for a good ride and bringing pride into Cougar Basketball.

In fact, Washington State already has contacted Portland State coach Ken Bone, according to the Oregonian. The paper is already speculating that St. Mary's Randy Bennett, San Diego's Bill Grier and former UCLA coach Steve Lavin also will be candidates. But come on, Lavin isn't leaving ESPN. And it's hard to imagine Bennett and Grier making the move, either.
